The best numbers yet seen going into this weekend with an SFI of 111, an A of 2, and a K of 3 and the current sunspot count is fifty one! Weather conditions suggest a little chop rolling across the ionosphere because of wind through Friday then settling into semi-glassy to glassy by the end of the event.

I'm stoked to finally see SFI above 90 with a potential for epic conditions on 10m for the weekend? The result might spread out signals across the high bands and present lots of opportunity for those competing in the newly established low power categories.

If chasing and logging DX is the soul end of one's RadioSport pursuit consider some point break locations like Senegal (6W), Barbados (8P), Trinidad and Tobago (9Y4), Bahamas (C6), or Cape Verde (D4) for the log.
